Our environmental initiatives
Raw materials
We require our suppliers to use naturally occurring sustainable raw and recycled materials wherever possible. All active ingredients used in our cosmetic products are at least 90% biodegradable.
Cosmetic formulation
We offer a comprehensive range of Ecolabel, organic, natural and vegan formulations which are certified as kinder to the environment.
Cosmetics
Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in tablet form to reduce both water consumption and eliminate plastic packaging.
Dispensers
Patented Ecolabel certified Ecosource dispenser system which has unrivalled environmental and economic credentials.
Packaging
Through our Care About Earth programme we are actively working towards reducing packaging and the amount of plastic we use. For example we offer bottles made from recycled plastic and plant based material (e.g. sugar cane) rather than hydrocarbons.
Waste and recycling
We comply with all relevant UK and EU environmental regulations. All our bottles, caps, dispensers and cardboard packaging are recyclable.
Transport
We seek to minimise fuel consumption and carbon emissions from employee travel and the procurement / distribution of products. This includes active logistic planning, fleet management and increasing use of teleconferencing.
